Indian wicket-keeper batter Ishan Kishan took a hilarious dig a hilarious dig at KL Rahul, who is undergoing a recovery process at the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru following his tendon surgery in his right leg. 

KL Rahul on Thursday (22nd July)  shared a series of pictures and videos of his hard work on his way to recovery. As he shared pictures, Ishan Kishan was quick to take a jibe at him and hilariously asked him: “Why is Mr Rajni doing so extra.”

KL Rahul injured himself during the recently concluded IPL 2023. He tore a tendon in his right leg and then was ruled out of the tournament. The keeper-batter also missed the ICC World Test Championship Final as he underwent surgery.

KL Rahul recently arrived at NCA and is undergoing recovery sessions. The batter is expected to make a comeback into the Indian team during the Asia Cup 2023 as various media reports have suggested the same. He is expected to play a huge role for his team in the tournament along with the World Cup 2023.

IND vs WI: India team to reach West Indies on 1st July 

The reports in Cricbuzz suggested that the Indian cricket team is likely to reach West Indies on the 1st July. The BCCI is keen to send the team 10 days earlier so that they can get enough time for the preparation and overcome jet lag. The Indian squad for the series is likely to be announced soon. 

India team will play 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is on their tour. The Test series will begin from 12th July to 24th July followed by ODIs that are slated to be played from 27th July to August 1st. The five-match T20Is are scheduled to take place from 4th August to 13th August. 

Here’s the schedule for the India tour to West Indies 

1st Test – July 12 to 16
2nd Test – July 20 to 24 

1st ODI – July 27
2nd ODI – July 29
3rd ODI – Aug 1 

1st T20 – Aug 4
2nd T20 – Aug 6
3rd T20 – Aug 8
4th T20 – Aug 12
5th T20 – Aug 13
