Karthik shared the first image of the field that will be utilized for the highly anticipated match between the two Test cricket heavyweights on Monday. On the surface, there was a layer of green grass, but Karthik’s tweet stated that there were still two days left.

Dinesh Karthik, a seasoned wicketkeeper and batsman, has arrived in London for his role as a commentator for the World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and Australia, which begins on Wednesday. Additionally, he has started giving updates from the scene, much like in the previous edition.

“Jasprit Bumrah is a huge miss for any team” – Dinesh Karthik

Dinesh Karthik has stated that India will be without star pacer Jasprit Bumrah in the World T20 final against Australia. Bumrah has been hampered by an injury that has kept him out of action for several months.

“Jasprit Bumrah is a huge miss for any team and in any format as he’s a force to reckon with, But a couple of key bowlers are in great form in Mohammed Siraj and Mohammad Shami who have bowled really well throughout the IPL,” Dinesh Karthik said to ICC Review.

“It’s only a question of how much their bodies will be ready to play the rigours of five-day cricket. That is going to be the big question,” Dinesh Karthik added.
