Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra lashed out at a fan, who blamed him for India’s losses in ICC tournaments, saying that ever since he started working as a commentator, the team didn’t win any ICC Championship.
India’s wait for the ICC Trophy continued after they suffered another heartbreaking loss in the knockouts. The Rohit Sharma-led were handed a massive 209-run loss in the final of the ICC World Test Championship (WTC) Final against Australia. Notably, it was their 9th consecutive loss in the ICC events.

This has made many fans upset as well and have blamed several things for the loss. Out of frustration, one fan on Twitter put all the blame on Aakash Chopra, who is a reputed commentator. He said that the Indian team have not won any titles since he started working as a commentator.

Aakash Chopra was quick to respond to this and reminded the user that he was part of the commentary team when India won the Champions Trophy and the two Asia Cups in 2016 and 2018. He replied:
“I commentated on the 2013 Champions Trophy. And Asia Cup after that. But I get your point. Somebody has to be blamed for the losses. I will take it.”

IND vs WI: India to tour West Indies next
The Indian Cricket Team will be next seen in action during the month of July. They will tour the Caribbean nation for 2 Tests, 3 ODIs and 5 T20Is.
The Test series will begin from. 12th July to 24th July followed by ODIs that are slated to be played from 27th July to August 1st. The five-match T20Is are scheduled to take place from 4th August to 13th August.
